São Brás de Alportel, 15 km from Faro, is the setting for the religious festivals and a place to enjoy all the flavours of Caldeirão. On Easter Sunday, São Brás holds one of the most authentic cultural and religious festivals in the country: the procession in honour of the Resurrected Christ, where parade floats have made way for the flowers that adorn the wonderful torches.
