Périgueux, FR, March 8, 2017 The Blue to the Feminine celebrates 30 years of Erasmus as part of the International Day of Women’s Rights.
Forty years ago, in 1977, the United Nations formalized March 8th as International Women’s Rights Day. The UN recognizes the role of women in peace and development efforts and calls for ending discrimination and strengthening support for the full participation and empowerment of women around the world.

In Périgueux, part of the Transcultural Carpet Blue shared by Aline Rutily is exhibited with the ten partners present and the public mobilized. This Carpets is inspired by the research works of the visual artist who question the process of artistic creation of the contemporary landscape as a crossing of singularities and plurality of cultures.

In the program of this event organized by the Heritage City Art and History Department of Périgueux, on the theme of Blue,
- fashion show,
- dance Flash Mob,
- stand relooking with Rosa Merenda, fashion designer,
- women’s artistic expression workshops,
- conference "History of the blue feminine from the Middle Ages to today"
- Information on mobility offered by Europe
