Récréarts is a non-profit-association which is situated in Belgium 29, rue de la Tombale 5310 Aische en Refail Eghezée.

Our Objectives are :
- promoting and developing the knowledge of art at school and in long-life learning associations.
- initiating and supporting cultural, educational and artistic projets.
- the recognition by authorities of the official status of artistic teachers.
- creating a network between Belgian and European artistic partners.

In conclusion, we could say that we are all passionate people, most of us teachers.

Recrearts has been working for 23 years now to support arts and our cultural heritage in all its forms.

We sometimes go abroad and visit Must Do’s like the Guggenheim of Bilbao in Spain or the Winsor and Newton manufactory in London, the world’s finest artists’ materials.

Thanks to a European project, we have the opportunity to organize meetings with artists about the ’vegetal’ in all its forms:

- Isabelle de Borchgrave and her fabrics inspirated by decorative motifs from ancient times.
- Sandrine De Borman with whom we share a workshop about vegetable paper (National Garden of Meise)
- Rainer Gross and Bob Vershueren are Land Art artists from conception to realization.

In August 2013, we’ll attend a residential 3-day training course about the ’vegetal’ in cooking, visual arts and physical well-being

God save Récréarts !

Dominique Lannoy, président.
