The Roads of the Blue are the travels of color across Europe, Blue Misses sent by post. The postal object becomes support, material and tool of expression of the blue color.
This is an opportunity to motivate the writing, to use the lexical field of the blue color and to enrich the repertoire of pictorial techniques : acrylic painting, watercolor, gouache, ink, pastel, various pencils, chalks, collage , sewing, embroidery, prints …
We thus discover the Art Postal, its place in the history of art since the first illustrated missives of the eighteenth century.
Any postal item can become a work of art !
I invite you to visit the exhibition of Postal Art presented in San Quirico d’Orcia, in the halls of Palazzo Chigi, headquarters of the Tagliolini Foundation, which oversaw the set up and publication.
This exhibition is part of the Erasmus Plus project "The Roads of the Blue in Europe" and was inaugurated during the mobility of St. Germain En Laye in June 2018.
The exhibition will be open from November 10 to December 10, 2018.

As part of the Erasmus + project " Roads of the Blue in Europe" , the Association Paysage et patrimoine sans frontière is organizing, with the collaboration of the Erasmus + project partners, a competition and an exhibition of Postal Art envelopes on the theme "Blue as a garden without borders".
